Life is fast and being connected with technologies it becomes challenging to follow steps to stay healthy.

We suggest following nine steps to promote the health and well-being of children. These steps include providing a safe and loving home, providing healthy meals and snacks, encouraging physical activity, promoting good sleep habits, ensuring regular medical checkups, keeping vaccines up to date, promoting mental health, teaching proper hand-washing, and setting limits on screen time.

All of these will be easier by teaching self-control techniques. One way to help children manage their feelings is to practice three easy steps together: stop, take a deep breath through the nose and exhale through the mouth, and count to five. This technique can be used when your child is calm and can be a helpful tool for them to use when they start getting upset.
